PNC Park webcam - The Virtual Bridges Tour

During the construction of the new home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, the team has installed a camera for fans to watch the progress. The new ballpark, PNC Park, is scheduled to open for the 2001 season of Major League Baseball.

The camera is located above Ft Duquesne Blvd across the Allegheny River from the ballpark. From a webpage of the Pittsburgh Pirates official website, www.pirateball.com the camera may be remotely controlled. The quality and capability of the camera makes it useful for other exploration of the North Side of Pittsburgh.

This virtual tour relies on the PNC Park webcam to view several of the nearby bridges, including the McKees Rocks Bridge over three miles to the west. So while the camera is in operation, take a tour that's the next best thing to being there.
